The Haunting of Nickelville Academy

Fifteen year old Megan McGeehee has spent her entire life on the run from the mythical Wild Hunt. No matter how far she and her mother flee, or with how much cold iron she surrounds herself, the faceless Huntsmen still catch the scent of her magic.

When she’s forced to seek sanctuary in the one place her mother swore they’d never go, the mysterious town of Nickelville, Texas, Megan begins to hope that she’s found a place she can finally belong. As she navigates the decaying halls of Nickelville Academy, she befriends outcast Bruce Grimble and his family.

In spite of bullies, the worst teacher in the world, and a cat intent on getting her expelled, Megan has never been happier. To stay, all she needs to do is banish the ghost that’s haunted the women of her family for centuries before her mother finds out and makes her leave the first  place that’s ever felt like home.
